Santa Claus is commin to town..

Unfortunatley I had to step out for the Evening last night, but a special visitor came to the Vail home. Since we have been snowed in for the past few days Baby Sol never had a chance to sit on Santas knee at the mall. With the help of Santas helpers, it was a dream come true, kind of.

Sol took a little while to warm up to the Holiday visitor.

One of the elves tried to appease our guest of honor, but he couldnt not be reckoned with.

I love my sisters so much! It is such a wonderful thing to have people that know your name and that make you feel happy and warm just by them being around. If only the world could know-we are all family. It seems we would take so much better care of eachother.
I feel so happy to be home! What a wonderful feeling comes over me when Im flying home and first spot the golden flecks of my city. Comming home this year has been different than any other. It is as wintery as ever, a true wonderland!!

I always find when traveling I reevaluate my life. Im not sure if its the food in those litle petri dishes or the altitude, but I always feel so blessed and lucky to come home to people who think the same things are funny.

The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

Luckily I didnt miss the afterparty. Merry Christmas my family!

Marni you are hilarious. Doesn't look like Sol warmed up to Santa much. Marni Claus has a striking similarity to my friend whipped cream face.
