I got a charlie horse!

These last few days as a normal civilian, feel like I'm counting down till Christmas or to the birth of my first born.

I used to think of time as an enemy.
Good times whisked away too fast, and the hard times dragging on forever.

But lately time is perfect.
The other night I picked up the guitar and a song Ive been trying to learn for the past four years, and suddenly my fingers were moving perfectly and it clicked and I could play it!  It felt so good.  Time, for the first time in a long time, had been good to me.  This also reminded me that there is no such thing as a small effort.  Every step is A STEP towards a a beautiful tune.

A few sweet peas came to town this weekend.  There really isn't anything like an old friend to put you at ease.  Friends aren't just people we invite to our birthdays and call up to hang out.  That's when friendships are built.  A friend's real purpose is to anchor you, comfort you, make you laugh, and take you by the arm when you don't trust your own feet.

There is so much I am unsure about.  But everywhere Ive been so far, Heavenly father has sent little angels to be with me, watch over me and teach me things.  I am forever thankful to them, for they give me confidence to go forward and reason to believe that there is friendship lurking around every corner of the world.  If I were a bird I would fly to each of you and say goodbye.

When Hyrum, Clark and DLT (Clark's sweet dad) were in town,  I too thought I was on vacation!
We brunched at this restaurant, Portage Bay thats pure organic, pure Washingtonian, not to mention pure delicious!

We crawled on the troll at Freemont

Took pics with Stalin the Russian Dictator

And just relaxed.  We also watched this hilar clip of this woman getting a charlie horse. Seriously it is a must see!  BOOM!

Mia got a charlie horse too!

I love this from the Dahli Lama.  He was asked what surprises him most he said:

"Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.”

I dont want to be like this!  I have to remind myself to take breaks, live life and create beautiful moments.  Because right now is all we have!

 Life is precious.
Protect it.
Savor it.
But remember that trying new things is what makes life delicious.

Normally I get anxious about things, and with everything ahead, I thought my heart would be beating like  a hailstorm, by now, knocking me around, but because of such supportive people, I feel as calm as a summers breeze. Hopefully it stays this way this week!

Im greatul for where Ive been and so excited to go where I am going!  Thank you everyone for making my life rich. I cant ask for anything else.
